The event also featured a Hands-on Session, where our participants performed a real-time PCR reaction to analyze the differences in the gene expression patterns of bacteria grown in environments with and without antibiotics added. During this experiment, participants also learn how to read real-time PCR result and validate their reactions by using the melt-curve analysis.
